Yes, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is commonly used to support stress, sleep problems (including insomnia) and low mood/depression, as well as anxiety and confidence issues. I focus on helping your mind and body move out of survival mode, so you can feel steadier and more rested.

What happens during a solution-focused hypnotherapy session?

Regular sessions are usually around 50 minutes, typically booked for the same time and day each week. The first part is solution-focused talking therapy where we explore what’s been better and create a goal to help you move forward positively. The second part is trance, where you can simply “kick back” and deeply relax.

Will I be in control during hypnotherapy, or can I lose awareness?

Hypnosis (trance) is a deeply relaxing part of the session; it’s not about losing yourself or being “knocked out”. If you have any worries about what trance feels like, I'm happy to talk it through in a free 15-minute chat before you book.

How many hypnotherapy sessions do I usually need to see results?

It varies from person to person. Most people start with regular weekly sessions and I also offer a bundle of 6 sessions. For fears and phobias, I offer a structured 3-session approach spaced weekly.

Can hypnotherapy help with phobias, confidence and performance issues?

Yes. I support a wide range of goals, including phobias, confidence/self-esteem and performance-related challenges. For fears and phobias, I use a structured approach that includes techniques such as Rewind (a visualisation technique) and Reframe.

Is hypnotherapy safe and suitable for everyone?
