Hello, I am Tricia and I’m grateful to have you here.

Together we will focus on and identify your struggles and your strengths, we will work together in helping you to achieve your desired future.

I am a solution focused hypnotherapist. I trained at CPHT, a recognised centre of excellence for hypnotherapy where I gained a diploma in SFH. I hold a current DBS certificate which enables me to work with children and vulnerable adults.

 A little bit about me

I am a mum to 2 beautiful children; I entered the world of motherhood at a very young age. I know first-hand the challenges that come with raising children with additional needs and mental health conditions in a one parent household.

After experiencing trauma throughout my life and being diagnosed with a chronic pain condition In my 30s, I really started to struggle with severe anxiety and depression. I know from my own experiences how hard it can be to attempt live a happy and healthy life when you are struggling with low moods and anxious thoughts.

I decided I wouldn’t live my life as a prisoner any longer, I reached out to a hypnotherapist in the hope she could help me. After our first videocall session I was surprised at how quickly my anxiety symptoms improved and I felt so much more in control of my life again. It was then that I decided I would leave the world of aesthetics & beauty and pursue a new career as a solution focused hypnotherapy. I am a firm believer in finding solutions instead of focusing on problems or difficult past experiences. 

I am living proof that of the life changing results hypnotherapy can have on a person. For that reason alone, I wanted to help anyone struggling with their mental health and support them in taking back control of their life.

What is solution focused hypnotherapy?

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) is a modern therapeutic approach that integrates the principles of solution-focused brief therapy with the techniques of hypnosis. This method emphasizes finding solutions and achieving positive outcomes rather than dwelling on problems or past experiences that can be difficult to relive. By utilizing the power of the subconscious mind, SFH helps individuals harness their strengths to create meaningful change in their lives. 

Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and deep relaxation. During a state of trance, the subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions and visualizations. Trance is completely natural and voluntary, we go in and out of trance in our everyday lives without even knowing, this can be when were lost in a good book, driving a regular route or even during a workout.  SFH utilizes hypnosis to help you tap into your inner resources and reinforce your goals.

The British medical journal recognises its effectiveness in reducing anxiety, chronic pain and tackling unhealthy habits like smoking.
Neuroscience has given us a fascinating insight into brain activity during trance, providing solid evidence of its effectiveness as a therapeutic tool.
